Wilson's Warbler still at Lucky Hammock......And Painted Bunting!

Yes, that's correct. A Painted Bunting! Now, for the 3 people that will continue reading, the Wilson's Warbler seen by Bill on Sunday was there at the exact same spot on the south side of Lucky Hammock, so it's probably wintering. Nice looking one too, but it didn't give me a chance for a photo. I have photos of almost all the good warblers seen in Florida, except for Wilson's and Swainson's, even though I've seen plenty. Other birds seen included...no much. One Swamp Sparrow, a heard Savannayh Sparrow, and the typical winter stuff (Yellowthroats, House Wrens, Catbirds). Palm Warblers were surprisingly very scarce, with only one here, one there. No Harriers (huh?). No flycatchers or kingbirds on the wires, and what's with the lack of sparrows? In short, birding was much slower than expected for this time of year.
