Limpkins were calling at Anhinga Trail this morning, and I was pleased to find one near the former kiosk. A Pileated Woodpecker was also in the low vegetation.
I found 12 warbler species in the park today, including a surprising Tennessee at the Gumbo Limbo trail entrance. This is the first time I've seen one in the winter months.
A White-tailed Kite was present along Research Rd. Three Robins (SOTS) were also spotted on Research Rd.
I didn't wait for the nighthawks since I'd already seen them 3 weeks ago.
