Please Help ID

Please help ID this bird I saw in backyard surrounded by live oaks in SMiami 26 October. Here are notes from that sighting.

Black eyes
No eye ring
Smaller than blue jay, larger than cardinal, robin sized
Plain brown buff gray head, clear cowbird-like delineation from body, no eye stripes, no details on face
Icterid shaped insectivorous/generalist bill, opened several times
Perched on aluminum screen horizontal beam, flew to ground to peck, seemed to walk not hop, flew up to live oak branch, interacted with blue jay, BJ bill was thicker, blue jay drove him off, flew away
Black w white spots starling-like body and wings
No wing bars
Red feet!
Could not determine if passerine or woodpecker feet, acted passerine
Looked...lost!! He actually appeared to be approaching blue jay to chat up then casually ask directions. Juvenille?

Birding since 1978. Don't know what to make of this. Thanks.
