I put a feeder up last year, but had no visitors. I've had a feeder up for a few weeks now and the first (and only) visitor arrived today. I planted some plants to hopefully attract hummers, but I only saw this one visit the nectar feeder today. I suppose if there are too many other birds near the feeder they might stay away. I usually have a bunch of doves, some blue jays, a few sparrows and an occasional bunting.
