I hadn't considered Swainson's (due to my lack of familiarity). You had me sold on Broad-Winged! I recall a very limited amount of dark coloration on the trailing edge of the wings - just a bare outline - and a lack of coloration on the leading edge.
I'm not saying this is the same bird, but I'd appreciate it if folks would have a look at the pics of this youngster taken on Fri in the same area and let me know what you think.
