That's great to know. I also have firebush, but not the native variety. This is a dwarf variety. It is next to Firespike (which bloomed in the summer and has some remaining blooms). I have plenty of milkweed for my monarchs, a pink powerpuff and some pineapple sage, which is small, and just started to bloom last week. We'll see if I get any activity.
