Marcello, as an ardent admirer of your photos it was a great pleasure meeting you yesterday. Peg was touched by your dedication of the bunting photo and asked me to convey her thanks.

For me, the surprise was the return of the Wood Ducks. I apologize again for ruining your photo op when I called to Peg and spooked them!

I still like the flycatcher for an Acadian. As I recall, the bird was greener than it appears in the photos and it had a flush of yellow under each wing. Bill and tail length seem more consistent with Acadian. I didn't get a great look at it in flight, but I did not notice that the underwings were dark as in Pewee. I also had the opportunity to look over several Pewees this morning.
Overall, not as birdy today as earlier in the week, but still lots to see.
