A pair of altamira (?) orioles nested in our yard last spring, disappeared for the summer months and an identical pair has now reappeared. As they are active in bushes just outside our pool enclosure and can't see us through the screen, we can observe them from a minimum disance - five or six feet. We thought they were spot-breasted orioles initialy but there are no spots. Is this an unusual species for Kendall (unincorporated Miami)?
