Justin - If you can look at the current Key West radar loop (2-2:35 PM) on the NOAA site, you'll have fun watching bird migration. There has been a huge swallow movement on Key Biscayne for the past 2 hours so perhaps these diurnal migrants over Key West are also swallows.
