If you have an interest in understanding how to use weather radar to predict bird migration, you'll want to attend a presentation by David La Puma entitled "Using Doppler Radar to Predict Birding Conditions in Your Neck of the Woods." David, a founding member of the now-legendary "Underground Holistic Birding Movement," is also "woodcreeper.com." His presentation takes place at 11:00am on Saturday, October 12 at Fairchild Tropical Gardens as part of the October 10-13 Birding Festival at Fairchild.
