Cool sighting Rangel. I've walked that path a couple times recently and didn't see the owl. I wonder where it came from and if it is a migrant/post-breeding disperser? I know for example in S. California the Burrowing Owls do move around somewhat, showing up around the coastal areas during the winter. I would be interested to hear if any local birders have knowledge of Burrowing Owls doing the same in Florida.
