After the last couple days I was excited to get out and bird Crandon Park's beach. The Black-bellied Plovers were out in strong numbers and even the uncommon Common Tern made an appearance. While driving south along the Osprey Trail back to the Crandon Park Visitor and Biscayne Nature Center I flushed a Burrowing Owl - my first ever in the park!
