Rock Jetty and I had good numbers of Long-billed Dowitcher and Stilt Sandpiper in the fields right at the beginning of Gladesview this AM. There were a few others such as yellowlegs and Ruddy Turnstone in there too. I was very glad to see a single Fulvous Whistling Duck among those shorebirds.
The Brown's Farm Road spot still held many American White Pelicans that took off around noon and began swirling up thousands of feet into a thermal. I can't imagine they would return to that spot. Two Bald Eagle's and many Wood Storks departed with them.
Exploring well north of Sam Senter Rd we had 7 Upland Sandpipers and several Cliff Swallows on a sod farm. The GPS coordinates for that location are: 26.812978,-80.559623
