The gull is actually not so difficult to relocate...with a scope of course. I saw it where Toe found it this morning. There were at least three hundred gulls in that area! Beautiful bird! It looks like a Bonaparte's on steriods, with a red bill. Be advised: A representative of Lennar Corp approached me and asked me nicely to avoid entering this area...for liability purposes. This area is still under construction and birders should respect this. Good thing is that these birds move from this area to our beloved "Old Cutler Wetlands", and this place is okay to bird in. Good luck finding this rarity and hopefully someone can take a photograph of it.
