OK, I'd like to request information on the whereabouts of migrants in the south Florida region. However, I'd like to give some specifics about which birds I'm interested in seeing. Below are some criteria to follow when reporting:

1. No need to report Gnatcatchers: they breed in Big Cypress so can be seen year-round if you really want to.
2. Please report warblers that are not Prairie, Redstart, Parula, Black-and-white, Yellow-throated, Common Yellowthroat, Pine, Palm, or Ovenbird. These are all common expected migrants.
3. I've already used the following warblers for Bird-A-Day, so no need to report these either: Blue-winged, Orange-crowned, Yellow, Magnolia, Cape May, BTB, Yellow-rumped, Blackpoll, Worm-eating, N. & LA Waterthrush, Connecticut, Yellow-breasted Chat.
4. Actually, these are the warblers I really want to see, so please report: Prothonotary, Golden-winged, Tennessee, Nashville, Chestnut-sided, Townsend's, Black-throated Gray, Blackburnian, Kirtlands', Bay-breasted, Cerulean, Swainson's, Mourning, MacGillivray's, Hooded, Kentucky, Canada, Wilson's. (with such a list, it shouldn't be too much trouble to find at least one, right?)
5. Report any shorebird from the following list: any Golden Plover or Sand-Plover, Mountain Plover, Whimbrel, Long-billed Curlew, Bar-tailed Godwit, Hudsonian Godwit, Marbled Godwit (in Dade county), Baird's Sanpiper, Buff-breasted Sandpiper, Curlew Sandpiper, any Stint, Greenshank or Redshank, Wilson's Phalarope. Any Lapwing too.
6.Any of the following flycatchers: Olive-sided, Sulphur-bellied, Yellow-bellied, Piratic, Willow, Hammond's, Fork-tailed, or Cassin's Kingbird.
7. Buntings that are not Painted, Indigo, or Lazuli. This means Lark, Varied, or Blue.
8. Glaucous, Franklin's, Black-headed, Gray-hooded, Belcher's, Kelp, Heermann's, Thayer's, or Little Gull.
9. Any Oriole that is NOT a Spot-breasted, Baltimore, or Orchard.
10.Any Blackbird that is NOT a Red-winged.
11. Any Thrasher that is NOT a Brown.
12. Ferruginous, Rough-legged, or Zone-tailed Hawk, Goshawk, or Golden Eagle.
13. Lastly, no Gnatcatchers, please.

There, that's easy enough. Let's get those reports coming!!
