Interesting. I didn't see the typical black lines along the head of a prairie myself - but this was from quite a distance, and the photo doesn't help much. The main thing that caught my eye was the yellow moving through the branches, and I saw a fair bit of whitish underbelly. I couldn't confirm a greyish head, but did see a bit of an eye ring or at least an eye band or mark that was lighter. The only thing which wouldn't seem as typical of common yellowthroat, at least at Wako, was that this one was high up in the trees - a good 20-25 feet above the water, and in try black oak or other land trees growing high on the berm - I've never seen common yellowthroats anywhere but down on the waterline, in the low reeds.
I'll be looking for him again this weekend. If anyone heads to Wako and wants to know the location - it's along the tree line that borders the south end of the very first embankment that you walk into - as you head down the boardwalk, turn to the right towards the embankment, then 90 degrees left to travel parallel with the embankment before the first gazebo...he was in those tall back trees up on the levee/embankment, where the cormorants like to sit on the tops.
