Golden Plover was gone by late afternoon (400pm); with all the ATVs and hunters in the area it had probably moved farther west than could be scoped. All the peeps I saw were Least, but there were also lots of Yellowlegs (both)and a couple of Dowitchers. Still some Green-winged Teal around,too.

Snail Kites were there, as was a Harrier. Right where 237 Ave turns towards 232 Ave, there was a seemingly out-of-place Cooper's Hawk with some small prey (rodent?) in its talons, sitting in a tree off the road.

I wonder if the 2 "visitors" you saw were related to the two I saw about 2 weeks ago who took their dog around impoundment w/out a leash and let it run to waters edge and flush egrets?
