The Buff-breasted Sandpiper found by Mickey Wheeler on Friday was relocated today around noon by Sir Larry Manfredi. I had spent a 1 1/2 hours searching for the Grasspiper, when Larry spotted the bird sitting in a muddy rut just west of the more eastern dirt road of two that feed south off of S.W. 224th St. The bird was only about fifty-yards south of S.W. 224th St.He was able to memorialize the event with several close range photos. The bird is far from skittish!

Found a Gray-cheeked Thrush at A.D. Barnes on the way home.

Life is good................seeing 95 species in Miami-Dade County the past three days, including Brown Booby,Cory'sShearwater,Sooty,Bridled,Common and Black Terns, Brown Noddy, Red-necked Phalarope, Buff-breasted Sandpiper,Scarlet-fronted Parakeet, Rufous Hummingbird, Golden-winged Warbler and two empidonax flycatchers.
