Sorry for the delay. The lat/long is N26.045, W80.44.567. The birds responded to a tape, and are present in the levees of the canals. I suspect they are not common, but they are there. The only problem is that the habitat is stretched along an almost 20 mile track, and only about 100 feet wide. You may want to try very early in the morning, or just as the sun sets.
