Mother/Dad and four baby screech owls continue their antics at MHOC meditation garden, Sawgrass and University. Punctually....right by the numbers..they emerge as the sun sets below the horizon. The parents whinny, warble, and buzz the observers before leading the young ones off to feed in the cypress hammock. A little bill "clacking" is thrown in to let everyone know who is the boss. And now, the woodpecker looks out the hole of her nesting box to see what the fuss is. Killdeer circle overhead and off course, what would any open green space in South florida be without the aerial displays of the nighthawks. The spectators are thrilled by the good open viewing areas and getting dive-bombed. Any one in the area-stop by. Remember, life began in a Garden.
