The Grassquit at Bill Baggs Cape FL SP was seen this morning 05/01. The bird was relocated in the same area as posted in the RBA post (see post below), today it was ~30 yards west of the white gate that is on the bike/pedestrian path which is across the road from where the Thick-billed Vireo has been at since March. Rangel got the bird and is now trying to get some photos of it.

A large area of precipitation is moving eastward over the Gulf and will likely enhance chances of a strong storm or two in the afternoon hours. Along the east coast, low level SE flow may spark some strong thunderstorms, but this all depends on diurnal heating, get out earlier than later if possible.
