Went for a late afternoon walk around the beautiful Spanish River Park and here's a brief report. It was on the quiet side.

1 Summer Tanager? Need help here. The white on the wings are puzzling me because i don't see a description anywhere of such color on a Summer Tanager. Maybe i have the wrong bird. (photo attached)
A pair of Brown Thrashers (photo)
Had one Spotted Sandpiper
1 Great Horned Owl that gave me some serious look from the Australian Pines
1 Yellow-Crowned Night Heron with nesting material crossing the park towards the Intracoastal.
NO signs of Western Spindalis or Black -whiskered Vireos this afternoon
Several Red-bellied Woodpeckers
Dozen or so Fish Crows
Hear a Great Crested Flycatcher in a distance
3 Painted Buntings - 2 male & 1 female
Several Northern Mockingbirds
Several Northern Cardinals
Several Blue Jays

Morning time there seems to be better but sometimes you try your luck and you succeed.

In the meantime... went to Green Cay and had a Least Bittern in flight - the colors indicate to be a male (photo)
Roseate Spoonbills are back in full force - there were 23 yesterday.(photo of 2)
Female Red-winged Blackbird was adjusting its comfort level in her nest (image)
