You are in for a treat, don't forget the snorkeling gear and keep your eyes pealed on the trip in and out, the boobies are usually seen perched on the channel markers a good ways before Garden Key. The little "bird bath" near the entrance of fort is great for all sorts of passerines and the trees in the camping area are usually loaded as well. If you eat fish, bring a light rod, the dock is loaded with an endless supply of magrove snapper and all you need is a little piece of squid/shrimp, light fluorocarbon leader, and no. 1 or 2 hook...I eat like a king on that island...have fun, I'll be there in may
