Thank your for your answer. The Field Guide to the Birds of North America by National Geographic does not show either bird present in Florida (fifth edition -fully revised and updated). It is confusing because i read their description and it says the following about Couch's : " Almost identical to Tropical Kingbird, with thicker, broader-base bill; back slightly greener and less gray.
On Tropical Kingbird it states:" Almost identical to Couch's Kingbird. Bill is thinner and longer; back slightly grayer, less green at close range...".
As you can see, i tried to do my homework and i looked at my pictures and read some more... but i guess i can't count too much on Bird guides.
If you say there has been no records of Couch's Kingbird in Florida i guess i have to rest my case. Thank you, very much.
