Need help with Scope

I am in the market for my first scope and wanted to know if there were any places in Miami-Dade or Broward that carried a wide selection ? There are plenty on the internet but I would like to see/feel/test them before purchasing. Does anyone know of any local places that carry spotting scopes ? Does anyone have any recommendations for ones in the south Florida humid conditions ? Any advice will be appreciated.
