You're welcome. Thanks for posting such great photos. Your Flickr page is impressive. These birds can be confusing, especially in the various plumages. Of the Sulids (gannets and booby), Northern Gannet is the one we are most likely to see from shore here on the east coast from late fall to spring. This year their numbers seem to be lower than in the past, probably due to a poor breeding season. Some winters, on days with strong sea breezes, you can see hundreds passing by offshore. Adults seem to pass first, with the juvies as stragglers. Brown Booby are almost a fixture on our offshore nagivation aids year-round, but they seldom come close to shore for some reason. You may get lucky with one from time to time. Masked Booby are very uncommon here outside of the ones breeding at Dry Tortugas, and of course Red-footed is a real prize when you see one.
