I want to thank Robin Diaz and Toe for the kind correction on my honest mistake - an immature Northern Gannet can be confused with a immature Brown Booby prima facie. I had no idea that Northern Gannets came so close to shore. They are oceanic birds and tend to stay far away from the Atlantic shores. Now i realized i photographed 2 Northern Gannets. One was immature and the other was molting into a light yellow adult plumage clearly seen on the small bird (due to distance) even though i did not know what the bird was. It is my opinion and correct me if i'm wrong....still a great find and register.

The other duck in question turned out to be a Male Gadwall and i want to thank Cory Gregory and Robin Diaz for their thorough knowledge on that species. Again, i had seen them before in a different plumage. Is it my destiny to fail for the immature species :). I thank each and everyone for checking the photos out. Hope other people learn from my experience.
