Neat! I've never seen a White-crowned Pigeon. The hardwood hammock and surrounding environs must be prime habitat for it.
Like you said, it should be a great place to see many bird species, including the warblers, waterthrushes, flycatchers, orioles, parrots, tanagers, ducks and everything you mentioned.
What species have you seen NESTING there?
