I was only there for a few minutes in the humid afternoon, but I still did see quite a few White-crowned Pigeons, Downy Woodpecker, Great-crested Flycatcher, Spot-breasted Oriole. There were many Mallards at the old flamingo site.

This site looks very good for migrants, and could have a few good birds over winter. I bet 20-25 warbler species pass through there each migration season, and 10-15 stay for the winter. The very tall native and exotic trees look good for tanagers, orioles, warblers, flycatchers, vireos, and parrots. The hardwood hammock will have it's fair share of thrushes in September and October, and the slough that runs through the park will most certainly boast a high waterthrush tally.
