Congrats, Vince! Nice job making it on leap year... 366 days. Another former south Florida resident, Brennan Mulrooney also finished the year based in San Diego County with 366 uninterrupted days with Bird A Day. Nina Rach, a journalist living in Houston Texas also finished the year with 366. Quite amazing! Prior to this year only one person had ever made it for a complete year.
If you are interested in participating this year you can register and play along with everyone else. Bird A Day helps you get out there a look for birds a little more than you might if you didn't participate. It's Fun and a Friendly competition ...mainly with yourself.
I'll be out there in the morning doing my annual 1st of the year birdwatching trek... and looking for my first BAD bird on top of that.
