We went on hunt to see a razorbill this morning and decided to chance it at the city pier on Anna Maria island. We had one within 30minutes of arrival, then a pair, then a third was found.
The birds were seemingly oblivious to people, surfacing within feet of kayakers launching from the beach and even next to swimmers.
But the best part was when one was fishing along the pier at our feet and even chasing small manta rays!!
