Yhe feeding of Razorbills continues near land. Gloria Cashin called me to report a friend boating had a razorbill following into a canal in Pompano.
The food must be close to shore. This year here many are seen close in. As many Razorbills as I have seen in my life off territory ( breeding)., I rarely have seen them feeding close to shore unless we have a storm. This summer I did have one swimming around a boat in Monhegan Harbor, Maine in good weather.
Keep looking it is an interesting winter on the shore., with Razorbills ands Scoters. Can you say " Dovekie". I think we are not done with rarities yet. The feeding is too good here
