Hi Georgiana,

No, not at all. With 14 records statewide over the past 100+ years, and then with 8 records in the past 6 days, this is truly an unprecedented occurrence.

It's probably food-related; maybe there's an massive shortage of bait fish farther north, forcing the birds hundreds of miles south of their typical range.
