I took another look at eBird after my last posting and found that the Bear Lake Road and Bear Lake Trail areas had been cleaned up considerably since last winter. However, the main location marker on Bear Lake Road is still labeled Bear Lake Trail and the one I created with the correct name only has my lone entry. There is also a correctly labeled duplicate marker on Bear Lake Trail. The species data entry system on eBird also seemed slow and clumsy to me compared to Avisys and my own species seen listing systems. I plan to get the new version of Avisys in a month or two which claims to have a way to export data to eBird, if this is so I will probably resume submitting my records.
