My VENT group birded the area this morning and had both Vermilions on the North side of the road, along with all the kingbirds. This was at the C-111 canal. I notice that there are eBird reports from the C-111E for Vermilion. Is there another bird there?
At Lucky Hammock, in addition to the sparrows Toe saw, we had 3 Clay-colored feeding on the road, just south of the hammock.
The kingbirds were all along the north end of Aerojet this evening. We had 2 brief glimpses of Lesser Nighthawk over the treeline to the west and two Barn Owls in the field north of the hammock.
