: Brian Rapoza substituted as leader for Jeff Weber. The highlight was a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak near the old lighthouse top. We also saw Bobolink, Indigo and Painted Buntings, Baltimore Oriole, and 11 warbler species today (Parula, Cape May, Black-throated Blue, Prairie, Palm, Blackpoll, Black-and-white, Redstart, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, Common Yellowthroat).

: On the way home, I spotted the Great Black Hawk over the north end of Crandon Park.
My wife and I showed up at the entrance to Bill Baggs @ 8:00 AM and it was double barricaded. Spoke to a nearby Policeman and know one knew why so we left and went to the West Coast. Our mistake I guess.
