Brian Rapoza substituted as leader for Jeff Weber. The highlight was a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak near the old lighthouse top. We also saw Bobolink, Indigo and Painted Buntings, Baltimore Oriole, and 11 warbler species today (Parula, Cape May, Black-throated Blue, Prairie, Palm, Blackpoll, Black-and-white, Redstart, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, Common Yellowthroat).

On the way home, I spotted the Great Black Hawk over the north end of Crandon Park.
