Help on sightings

It would be greatly appreciated if the TAS members that visit Hoechoka Hammock would post sightings. I am so busy tending the grounds that I rarely get a chance to look up and see the warblers, etc. We must have painted buntings there but I can't confirm that myself.

Today at 10:00 AM a Cooper's Hawk missed on a catch-n-kill attack on the doves at the feeders by the Green Tent. It missed so it landed on the picnoc table under the tent and preened for twenty minutes. Not so remarkable except one of the workers was ten feet away in the "Gator" with the engine running and was ignored by the bird. I call that rather "cheeky" on the part of the hawk. Or perhaps, it knows that it is safe at Hoechoka Hammock.

Grahm, you would have needed a wide angle for this shot.

Anyway. Watch for it
