Btw. Of all the native Fla Woodpeckers that is the only one I personally have not seen in Miami Dade, or Dade County.
Saw the last Ivory Bills in about 1st or 2nd grade, several Red Cockadeds in the Pine Glades Lake area of ENP in the late 1980s but they were post storm birds.
Nice sighting! Perhaps they will become resident again.
