In the natural area across the street from Fairchild Tropical Gardens. Take dirt road until you come out to an opening with very tall palm trees. Walk to the road cross it and walk about 30ft on dirt road. The woodpecker was pecking on the telephone poles this evening around 17:30. Later I saw him in some very tall trees on the right side of the only house.
