Early this morning, at about 7:00, I found a calling Prothontary Warbler in the yard that the Veery was in yesterday. It fed about 15 feet up, and did the typical Prothonotary Warbler thing- grasping the tree trunk and search for insects. Then I realized I had school in an hour and ran back home to get ready. A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was also found. With the way things are going in north Dade, maybe things will be looking up for Barnes on Sunday.
