Radar from last night suggest that migrants were aloft in big numbers last night. This morning we called Toe and told him to make sure he stops at Matheson because of the density of migrants recorded on radar and the magnitude of flight calls we heard before sunrise. Minutes before sunrise Cape FL was very active, birds dropping down into the trees, thrush flight calls and large numbers of Palm and Black-throated Blue Warbler flight calls just as the sun broke the horizon.
GET OUT AN BIRD FOLKS! We are in the peak of migration after today, soak it up before they are all gone :)
