A special thank-you to Josh Friers, who took Roxanne Featherly and me into the dump area to see the two White-cheeked Pintails. Both birds were present shortly after noon, in the nastiest little wetland one could imagine. The Pintails were associating with other wild ducks and shied away from human contact.
