I had many of the same birds at the two parks this afternoon. In less than two hours, I came up with eleven species of warblers. I missed Blue-winged, Blackburnian, and Yellow-throated Warblers and Northern Waterthrush. Instead, I came up with a Magnolia (appears to be the same bird as last weekend in the secondary growth bordering the horse stables), a Louisiana Waterthrush at Arch Creek, and several Common Yellowthroats.
An Acadian Flycatcher was feeding in the oaks in the westernmost parkinglot in Enchanted Forest.
Lastly, reptile sightings included a truculent neonate Everglades Racer, several Northern Ameivas, Green Iguanas, and a large spiny-tailed iguana species on the railroad tracks. The ameiva and the spiny-tailed iguana species are both new arrivals to these parks.
