After checking Stevenson & Anderson, and back issues of FFN, it seems that both the Buff-bellied Hummingbird at Fairchild (seen again today) and Alex's Carolina Chickadee are firsts for Miami-Dade county.
In fact, Ft. Pierce and St. Lucie are the farthest south the Chickadee has been reported on the east coast (which S&A questioned).
