After a hot afternoon of yard work , ( some people call it "gardening"), I decided to sit in the pool and bird. At about 4 Pm, saw about 10 nighthawks ( probably Common) fly over and swallows everywhere. Barn swallows and probably other types- bank(?).
I can't complain about migration although it would be nice to have a few warblers about now in the backyard.
My husband opened a microbrew of some kind since I announced that good birds are beer birds, I think it was British ale...
