In a word, quiet. Could not find anything in fields except Killdeer and Swallows (Barn, Bank, and Cliff), plus 1 Harrier. At the Annex & Lucky Hammock had only Prairie, Redstart, and Northern Waterthrush for warblers. Did have a FOTS E Wood-Pewee, lots of Eastern Kingbirds, plus Great-crested and a Gray Kingbird. Other birds included White-eyed Vireos and 2 Greater Yellowlegs.
On way back did see 3 Sandhill Cranes in one off-road field.
