Stopped by Evergreen around 5. Several each of BG Gnatcatchers,American Redstart,Northern Parula. One each of Black & white,Prothonotary and Eastern Kingbird. In the morning, I had a fos Eastern Wood-Pewee at Markham Park. A question if someone can answer. Shouldn't we in South Florida have an equally good chance at a Connecticut Warbler in the fall as in the spring? Although they fly down the east coast in fall and a more westerly course in spring, it seems both routes take them through Florida. Why is it only that 2'nd week in May when we see them(if we're lucky)?
