Indeed depending on time of day the tree's angle and the sun can be a bit more difficult - I suspect it would be better in morning when the light is behind you. I've taken all mine in the afternoon, dealing with the sun mostly overhead. This was one of my better catches of the chick coming out of the hole with mom there.
