Miguel Padura and I found an immature (1st year) Glaucous Gull yesterday at Black Point. It was on the water on the north side of the jetty, about three-quarters of the way out. The time was around 3:00 p.m. Diagnostic are the bird's black-tipped pink bill, virtually all-white plumage, and large size (larger than a Herring).
I have photos, but can't figure out how to post them here. If you want to see them, e-mail me and I'll send them to you.
